Location: Germany
Output: 6,3 MWp
A hybrid solar power plant of this scale places special demands on planning and engineering. For the project at the Jochen Schweizer Erlebnisarena, HEMA Rack was responsible for the planning, production and delivery of the project-specific PV mounting system.
Together with VISPIRON EPC GmbH & Co. KG, a tailor-made solution was implemented for a high-performance hybrid solar power plant.
The photovoltaic system covers approximately 52,000 m² and has a total capacity of 6.3 MWp, with an expected annual energy yield of around 7.1 GWh.
The system is complemented by battery storage units with a total capacity of 12,000 kWh. These enable surplus solar power to be stored and used even when the sun is not shining. This increases on-site consumption and makes an important contribution to a largely self-sufficient energy supply for the Jochen Schweizer Arena.
By combining photovoltaic generation, battery storage, charging infrastructure and the direct use of solar power within the arena, the project lays the foundation for a high-performance, future-oriented and largely self-sufficient energy supply.
The project at the Jochen Schweizer Arena is a prime example of how hema-rack GmbH contributes to the successful implementation of large-scale solar projects with well-engineered photovoltaic mounting systems.
A successful project for a sustainable energy future – precisely planned, reliably manufactured and successfully delivered.
